Board of Studies of ICAI governs the study pattern of CA course, examinations and all the related academic matters concerning the CA course. They have their own publications, their own events etc. to keep the students involved. Taking about the course of Chartered Accountancy, the course is divided into 3 parts, Foundation, Intermediate and Final. Exams for which are held Semi-Annually.

CA Foundation:

It is one of the two ways of entry into the CA course and is particularly meant for undergraduates. It consists of 4 papers listed as under:

  1. Principles and practice of accounting
  2. Business laws and Business correspondence and reporting
  3. Business Mathematics, Logical reasoning and Statistics
  4. Business economics and business commercial Knowledge

CA Intermediate:

this is the second stage of the CA academic curriculum and can be entered either by successfully clearing the foundation course or graduate with requisite amount of marks have a privilege of direct entry into the course. This programme is divided into 2 groups of 4 modules each, which can be cleared group at a time or both groups at once depending upon the level of preparation.

CA Final: CA Final is the third and last level of CA Course. You will get CA Degree after completion of articles ship and clearing the CA Final exams. Subjects in CA Final are as follows.
