CA In job can also become FCA : ICAI

Yes you heard it right now CA In job can also become FCA . Previously member in practice can only become FCA or the member in specific kind of jobs can become FCA
On  12th dec ICAI issue this notification which will be beneficial for almost 70% of chartered accountants who are in job

Ca Notes welcome this step by ICAI to allow CA in job can also become FCA

This news came with a great delight for me as well as I am also a Chartered accountant in Job .

Amendments are made in eligibility conditions which are under Regulation 5(3) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988

Now four more conditions are inserted in the clause are forCA In job can also become FCA  ICAI

  1. CA in job under government authority
  2. CA in job under any statutory
  3. CA in job under any local
  4. CA in job as a paid assistant under any Chartered Accountant.

Members who are fulfilling the said  conditions can apply to the concerned Regional Office withd Fee and application in “Form 3” along with required documents for  Fellow Membership of ICAI . Details and Application Form are available on the Institute’s website link given below:
